Monkey Island Wedding Photography

I’m Allister Freeman, a professional Berkshire wedding photographer with almost two decades of experience, welcome to my Monkey Island wedding photography page.

Monkey Island, situated right in the middle of River Thames in Berkshire, is a unique venue that has it all. Beautiful gardens, fantastic buildings and access to the gorgeous river – what more could you need? Well, there’s also the exclusivity of having your own island, the delightful bridge over the river, the Peacocks (yep, real live ones!) and the onsite accommodation.

This winter wedding at Monkey Island is a real gem and that’s in no small part down to Jamie and Emma. They are an absolutely fantastic couple and made me so welcome it didn’t feel like I was ‘working’ at all. Instead of me going on and on, let’s let Jamie and Emma tell you what they thought of the day…

I’m not sure either of us can sum up the words to thank you enough for our beautiful wedding photography. It sounds terribly gushing but very true. I am sure you could tell by our reaction when we saw you during the previews!

We can’t stop looking at them, and I don’t mean simply because we’re dressed up and looking nice but because of the unbelievable story they tell, pin pointing real moments of emotion and capturing a feeling through each and every one. We are amazed at how you have done this.

For all those brides and grooms wanting hundreds upon hundreds of pretty but posed pictures of the two of them, you’re missing out!

What you do is something so special, looking at the pictures is like being at the wedding again and very emotional!
