I’m Allister, a professional London wedding photographer with almost two decades of experience, welcome to my Radission Edwardian Canary Wharf wedding photography page.
Let’s give this place its full title – Radisson Blu Edwardian New Providence Wharf Hotel. What a mouthful! Whoever thought that up was clearly getting paid by the word, but let's go with the ‘Radisson Canary Wharf’ for ease.
The Radisson Edwardian in Canary Wharf is quite simply stunning, I’m not overly keen on new venues but the layout of the Radisson really lends itself to my style of reportage wedding photography.
The available light is exceptional and the rooms and corridors are cleverly thought out – there’s always potential to create more dimensional, layered images with the merging spaces and competing viewpoints in one form or another.
Gemma and Leon’s London wedding went without a hiccup. Their ceremony overlooked the O2 Arena and their drinks reception took place in the mirrored hallway and gallery bar before guests were called into the main room for the wedding breakfast, speeches and evening entertainment.
It was quite an emotional day for Gemma’s family and I felt truly privileged to be part of it and to get to know them all.
